LETIsmart is a system developed by SCEN, a leading company in the microelectronics sector with great experience in Iot technologies, security, medical, aerospace and important collaborations around the world with research and development centers.
The idea and coordination of quality verification are by Marino Attini, first president of the Trieste section now National Councilor of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired, multimedia and electronic expert, visually impaired and for many years engaged in the search for technological solutions which can facilitate the blind and visually impaired people in their precious autonomy.
The set of “LETIsmart®” products is designed and manufactured in compliance with the 17 points defined in the ONU 2030 Agenda for eco-sustainable development, which aims to achieve a balance between the economic, social and ecological dimensions. In particular, the focus is on the adoption of clean and environmentally friendly technologies and processes, which are part of the carrying capacity of ecosystems, as well as on a higher quality development of infrastructures that make them reliable, safe, sustainable and resilient. No less important purpose is reducing inequalities and disparities on a global level, guaranteeing development based on equal opportunities.
